About the Role:This full-time position at Karara Mine requires a skilled Maintenance Planner to lead our team's efforts in planning and scheduling maintenance work. The goal is to ensure fixed plant assets are maintained safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

- Day Shift Only
- Maintenance Planning: Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level for safe, quality, and cost-effective work execution.
- Scheduling and Notifications: Manage notifications, work orders, time confirmation, and documentation for fixed plant asset maintenance using ERP systems like SAP and Pronto.
- Inventory and Logistics: Organise and monitor parts, materials, and external contractor services to ensure timely availability for scheduled maintenance and shutdown works.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with procurement and stores teams to align inventory levels with scheduled maintenance activities, optimising cost management while minimising delays and downtime.
- Documentation and Records: Collect, file, and disseminate drawings, manuals, and other critical documents to support maintenance and repairs.
- Cost Estimation and Quoting: Provide accurate cost estimates for maintenance, repair, and project works, preparing quotes as required.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative duties as directed by Site Manager and Operations Manager.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the mining or construction industry.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or mining environments.
- Good technical understanding of fixed plant maintenance practices.
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to adhering to policies and procedures.
- Australian-recognised qualifications in a maintenance-related field, such as mechanical or electrical trade certificates or engineering diplomas/degrees.
- A valid Australian Driver's License.
- Current Working at Heights certification.
- National Police Clearance.
- Willingness to complete full pre-employment medicals.
- Current Confined Space Entry Training.
- Australian High Risk Work License in Forklift and EWP (desired).
