Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting intersection analysis and/or traffic modelling.
  • Analysing signal timing, parking and traffic data.
  • Traffic engineering design, including swept path assessments, site access and car parking layout reviews, devising intersection upgrades and road safety improvements.
  • Undertaking intersection and corridor studies.
  • Documenting traffic impact assessments (TIAs).
  • Preparing proposals, technical reports and presentations.
  • Managing clients and stakeholders with support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate must exhibit strong technical abilities in the traffic engineering and transport planning discipline and, ideally, will have experience with development assessment.

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Ideally 3–6 years of experience in transportation engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in traffic engineering and transport planning.
  • Experience with traffic modelling and design software such as SIDRA, VISSIM and AutoTurn.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritisation skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
