We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac unit, specializing in managing acutely unwell patients with a range of coronary issues.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing strong clinical decision-making and hands-on care-giving skills.
- Apply clinical assessment procedures to evaluate medical health status, identifying and implementing timely care interventions for optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical peers, Medical Officers, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop effective interpersonal and communication skills to enhance patient care, accuracy of clinical records, and team trust.
- Maintain compliance with current policies and procedures, ensuring best practice patient outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated coronary care experience, including patient management with conditions such as Acute Coronary Syndrome, Stemi/Non Stemi, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Acute Pulmonary Oedema, and Pulmonary Emboli.
- Relevant medical experience in an acute environment, demonstrating transferable knowledge and skills to a coronary unit role.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, promote confidence, and satisfaction with patients, families, and support persons.
