Teaching at Maitland Christian School

Established in the beautiful Hunter Valley, we offer quality Christian education from Prep to Year 12. Our school emphasizes individual strengths, faith development, academic, sporting, and cultural excellence.

We are seeking dedicated teachers for a range of roles across our Secondary School. The successful applicants will have experience teaching throughout Years 7-12, with the capacity to teach Senior Subjects highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be a relational and empowering educator, able to grow student vision and capacity for learning in a Christian Education framework. They will demonstrate skills in relating to students, staff, parents, and the broader community.

A collaborative learner, able to work as part of flexible teams to pursue ongoing excellence is also essential. Experience teaching senior classes is highly desirable; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Demonstrating well-developed communication, administration, and interpersonal skills
Benefits

Salary will align with NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi Enterprise Agreement 2020-2023 at the successful applicant's level of responsibility and experience.
