Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team as a permanent full-time position.

This role involves delivering high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to our customers, requiring travel to sites within the Fraser Coast region.

The successful candidate will have a trade or field services background in fitting/machine repair and/or hydraulics, with excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide consistent, accurate, high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to our customers.
  • To build relationships with a varying range of customers, providing solutions and support.
  • To participate in a 24-hour on-call roster, reporting to the Centre Manager.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and fulfilling work environment.

Requirements

  • A trade certificate in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics.
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately.
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • Desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to arrange and plan priorities.
  • Anticipate problems and be proactive in finding solutions.
  • Strong understanding of customer service.
  • Have an understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices.
  • Ability to carry out instructions.
  • Medically fit for the task.
  • Be well presented and groomed.
  • A current Manual Driver's License and willingness to obtain an LR License.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About You

To be considered for this position, you should reside in the Maryborough/Hervey Bay region and be available for overtime.

You will be given full product and job training, a fully maintained service vehicle, and opportunities for career growth and development.
