Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Residential Environment Assistant. This dynamic role involves maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction in various hotel areas.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of 60 professionals and provides a platform for career growth within a reputable international hospitality company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, ensuring seamless delivery of items to their rooms.
  • To collect and stock linens in a timely manner, supporting the Housekeeping team in their daily tasks.
  • To complete task worksheets accurately and report any incomplete duties, contributing to the smooth operation of the hotel.
  • To maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in guest corridors, walls, doors, and back-of-house areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • To assist with the relocation of heavy furniture, bulky items, and perform other cleaning tasks as required, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • To provide excellent customer service, greet guests with special requests, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a hotel environment, preferably in a four or five-star setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior customer service skills, upholding clear ethics and values.
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays.
