Photography Instructor

What could be more satisfying than helping a group of enthusiastic students take their first steps in photography and giving them a fun start to a new hobby?

As a Photography Instructor, you will teach social classes that run every other weekend in Hobart. Our classes are designed to be fun, social, and relaxed – no formal lectures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching photography to a group of 6-12 keen amateurs and beginners
  • Leading classes at different outdoor locations with unique themes (e.g., Street, Nature, Landscape)
  • Marketing: supplying samples of your art for promotional purposes (full credit given)

Requirements:

  • Proven advanced photography skills (qualifications and body of work essential)
  • Experience in teaching or group leadership is highly desired
  • Punctual and reliable; able to commit to regular work for at least six months on Saturdays or Sundays
  • Availability to start within two to three weeks
