Senior Urology Specialist

Seeking a Consultant Urologist to provide high-quality clinical services at our regional hospital in Mackay, Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team and make a meaningful contribution to the community.
- Provide expert urological care to patients, including performing after hours and weekend clinical duties as rostered.
- Supervise trainees and other staff, providing education and guidance as needed.
- Participate in patient safety, audit, research and service planning activities, contributing to the development of our health service.
About our hospital:
Mackay Base Hospital is a 236-bed regional hospital that serves 10 rural hospitals and multi-purpose health facilities across the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday region. We are embarking on a significant redevelopment project, adding 112 inpatient beds and expanding outpatient and support services.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) (Urol) or equivalent qualification.
