As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing irrigation operations across Fitzroy macadamia developments in Gogango, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To excel in this role, you must have experience in operating and managing pressurised irrigation systems, proficiency in irrigation automation, and experience working with tree crops.

The successful candidate will provide expertise in irrigation system design and installation, monitor water account balances and requirements, program and manage automation systems, guide orchard managers on irrigation requirements, coordinate delivery of water through suppliers and infrastructure, and maintain strong working relationships.

Irrigation System Expertise:
  • Design and install efficient irrigation systems to meet the needs of our macadamia orchards.
  • Monitor and control water usage to ensure optimal yields and minimize waste.
Leadership and Communication:
  • Lead a team of professionals to achieve our irrigation goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with orchard managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of water and other resources.
