Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Airside Ground Crew Member.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the frontline team ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations. Your role involves handling critical tasks such as bagroom operations, loading and unloading, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring the precise receipting and dispatching of aircraft.

  • You will perform bagroom functions, including scanning and manual handling of luggage.
  • You will load and unload baggage and freight efficiently.
  • You will manage aircraft receipt and dispatch procedures.
  • You will execute aircraft pushback operations safely.
  • You will provide essential water and waste services.
  • You will operate ground service equipment on the ramp.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Requirements
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • A valid Driver's License (including Provisional License).
  • Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests.
  • Capability of obtaining an ASIC card.
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day.
  • Ability to work shifts spanning 06:00 - 20:00.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
  • Available for a 1-week full-time paid training.
