Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to the development of electrical designs.

The successful candidate will assist in the creation of detailed electrical designs, produce cost estimates of materials and labor, collaborate with the construction team during project execution, and update database and as-built drawings.

About You
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer/Designer
  • Technical fluency on Low Voltage and DC power
  • Proficiency in interpreting CAD drawings
  • Competency in MS Office, especially with MS Excel
  • MS Access, MS Power Automation, and Power Apps desirable
  • A current manual driver's license
Desired Skills (But Not Essential)
  • Develop technically fit-for-purpose solar and battery designs for commercial market segments
  • Have proficient knowledge of the solar industry and solar-related regulations
  • Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
