About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team as a Senior Clinical Leader. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to our team of Prosthetists/Orthotists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the team, ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other senior staff to develop and implement service strategies and policies.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members.
  • Manage a complex and varied clinical caseload, including technical work as required.
Requirements
  • Master of Clinical Prosthetics & Orthotics or Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent.
  • Membership or evidence of eligibility for membership to AOPA.
  • Proven expertise in O&P service delivery and treatment.
  • Experience in clinical leadership within a discrete unit, including service development, evaluation, and quality improvement activities.
  • Full competency in technical processes, with the ability to oversee and train others.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of service delivery relating to O&P, clinical exposure equivalent to at least 8 years of experience.
