• Our mission is to support Victoria's athletes to become world-class performers through innovative programs and partnerships.

Job Summary:
• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director High Performance to lead our high-performance programs and deliver results-oriented outcomes.
• The Director High Performance will be responsible for overseeing and delivering on the performance outcomes of the VIS in relation to Australia's WinWell 2032+ strategy and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage high-performance programs to achieve results-oriented outcomes.
• Collaborate with Games Partners, National and State Sporting Organisations, and the Australian Institute of Sport/Australian Sports Commission to deliver high-performance programs.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of Victoria's athletes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to coaches, managers and athletes to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of high-performance programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in leading, devising and implementing successful high-performance programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, provide direction, inspire and influence others.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to seize opportunities.
• Experience in coaching or managing an athlete/team with success at Olympic/Paralympic or World Championship level is highly desirable.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and not being afraid to critically evaluate work and strategy.
