Support Specialist for Individuals with Disabilities

Job OpportunityOur Disability Support Workers play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services that enhance the lives of our participants.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans that promote independence and inclusion
- Collaborate with families and carers to strengthen relationships and build social connections
About You:
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in mental health care
- You have a sound understanding of NDIS requirements and can advocate for participant choices
- You are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support to participants, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Conducting manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Experience working in Supported Independent Living environments, promoting participant autonomy and choice
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current Australian Drivers Licence
- Hold a current First Aid/CPR certificate
- Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
