We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter - Mechanical Technician to join our team in the Pilbara. You will work on a fly-in, fly-out roster from Perth, with regular shifts on our Jimblebar site. As part of our Mobile Equipment Maintenance department, you will have the opportunity to specialize in one of several areas, including field equipment, ancillary equipment, trucks, or LV/Auxiliary equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Carrying out complex repairs and overhauls of equipment
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to strict health and safety protocols
