Clinical Research Coordination Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to work closely with Principal Investigators, Co-investigators, and the Research Team to conduct clinical research activities through the coordination and delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely start-up and smooth running of allocated trials onsite with support from Research Leads and the start-up team.
  • Work with the team lead and local research team to ensure all recruitment targets and timelines are met.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including your team, research leads, PI, Centre staff, and sponsors.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, ECGs, venepuncture, medication management as deemed competent, and maintain proficiency.
  • Process samples, coordinate sample collection, and dispatch as required.
  • Prepare for and host monitoring and close-out visits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in regulatory, administrative, and clinical frameworks and current clinical issues and practices as they pertain to research.
  • Ensure all research is conducted in accordance with SOPs, Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, study-specific protocols, and all applicable national and international laws and regulations.
  • Complete all mandatory and trial-specific training as required.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with relevant nursing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a clinical research coordinator in nursing, science, or Phase 1 research, Oncology, or nuclear medicine with an equivalent undergraduate degree.
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge of clinical trials software and the MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an effective, proactive, and cooperative manner.
  • High level of initiative and flexibility with the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and applicable national and international laws and regulations.
  • Flexibility in working times and locations.
