Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commis Chef to join our culinary team. As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, and other senior chefs in the kitchen while embodying the art of French hospitality.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will assist in preparing and presenting dishes that meet high standards of quality and presentation.
  • You will maintain a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to food safety standards and HACCP guidelines.
  • You will work effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher is essential.
  • You must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial for success in this position.
  • You must be willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred Skills
  • A passion for gastronomy and creativity in the kitchen.
  • A working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
