Job Overview

We offer a leadership role for an experienced power solutions manager to oversee the coordination, execution, and management of temporary power generation rental services.

This position involves leading a team of field technicians in the safe and efficient delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rental equipment in various environments such as construction sites, events, utility outages, or emergency deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of field delivery operations for power generation rental equipment.
  • Lead and schedule a team of field technicians to ensure reliable and on-time installation and setup of power solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and service teams to plan and deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments, determine appropriate equipment sizing and configurations, and oversee field installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and policies during transportation, setup, and operation.
  • Manage inventory and readiness of equipment, tools, and vehicles required for field operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues onsite, providing guidance and escalation support.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, service activities, and customer interactions using service management software.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in power generation, electrical distribution, or equipment rental services.
  • Proven leadership experience in field service operations or project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of diesel and natural gas generators, load banks, HV transformers, and temporary power systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-lines, and site plans.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with QHSE and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with service scheduling and fleet management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience in emergency response or rapid deployment power services.
  • Electrical trade certification.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
