We are seeking an experienced Asset Planning and Project Engineer to play a key role in developing and delivering the long-term capital program for our major water infrastructure project at the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project in Murarrie.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operational teams and subject matter experts to ensure effective development, prioritization, and delivery of the long-term capital program.
  • Develop business cases for asset renewals and scheme improvement projects.
  • Support asset condition assessments and gather performance data.
  • Undertake options analysis for asset renewals.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, risk plans, and budgets for renewal options.
  • Engage service providers to conduct detailed design and engineering studies.
  • Manage subcontractors, consultants, and budgets.
  • Provide technical support for project delivery teams, including involvement in HAZIDs, HAZOPS, design reviews, and acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Project planning, design, or delivery experience.
  • Proven skills in writing business cases for asset renewal and improvement projects.
