Job Description

As a Hair and Makeup Artist, you will work closely with the Stylist to create on-trend makeup looks for studio shoots that meet provided briefs. This role combines hair and makeup duties with responsibilities as a Studio Assistant for photoshoots and studio matters.

This opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise daily for eCommerce shoots and campaign shoots. When not executing hair and makeup looks, you will support the studio with various activities such as managing incoming and outgoing inventory through the studio workflow.

The Role:

  • ">
  • Work alongside the Stylist to create on-trend makeup looks for studio shoots meeting provided briefs.">
  • Manage incoming and outgoing inventory through the studio workflow.">
  • Accompany the Content Production team on offsite campaign shoots to execute hair and makeup looks meeting provided briefs.">
  • Adjust hair and makeup looks on all shoots to ensure high standards throughout.">
  • Understand and translate creative changes quickly without disrupting the shoot process.">
  • Source products elevating imagery and looks.">
  • Maintain the makeup kit and order supplies as required.">
  • Support administration duties.">
  • Order samples for eCommerce shoots and source images from partners and suppliers.">
  • Manage the eComm library with Buyers.">
  • Support product prep for shoots.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Full understanding of hair and makeup standards, ideally with studio or campaign experience.">
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional hair and makeup experience.">
  • Knowledge of current hair and makeup trends, including celebrity style and influencers.">
  • Technical understanding of lighting, photography, and aesthetics.">
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a time-sensitive environment.">
  • Proactive and motivated approach with initiative-taking skills and independent/collaborative work habits.">
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.">
