About This Role

This position is part of a team responsible for maintaining asset integrity and reliability within a large mining operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver asset integrity functions, contributing to the overall reliability of the operation
  • Lead a reliability engineering team to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Manage and maintain processes related to asset integrity assurance, plant performance systems, condition risk databases, and loss elimination records
  • Oversee structured budget development and delivery processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry engineering standards
  • Monitor industry developments and recommend refinements to improve asset reliability
  • Manage contractors and consultants to achieve safe and cost-effective outcomes

The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and grow teams. They will be skilled in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong background in fixed plant maintenance and reliability practices
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels
