About the Role

M&T Resources is seeking a skilled QA Automation Specialist to join our team. As a QA Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our InsurTech SaaS application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional Testing: Verify that configurations, rules, lifecycles, and question sets meet customer requirements.
  • System Integration Testing (SIT): Ensure seamless integration between base configuration items and external systems, including ratings integrations, brokerage, payments, and reports.
  • User Experience Testing (UXT): Validate that the user experience, including UX, emails, branding, and client linking, aligns with client expectations.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist business users in validating the system through end-to-end user stories to ensure it meets their needs before production.
Technical Skills
  • Moderately Technical: Understand complex application flows and underlying systems.
  • Coding Experience: Knowledge of how code works is essential.
  • Tools and Tech: Proficiency in Jira for test management, Jenkins for CI/CD, Postman for API testing, and collaboration tools such as Atlassian Confluence, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Planning: Update test plans and cases based on customer requirements.
  • Execution: Perform manual and Postman-based testing.
  • Defects: Log, track, and verify defects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Purpose
  • Ensure the company's application meets customer needs.
  • Identify and report defects early to facilitate timely fixes.
  • Support business users during UAT to validate the system before production release.
Desirable Experience

Experience in QA for FinTech or InsureTech SaaS applications is highly desirable.
