Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end data architecture that supports current needs and future growth
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all systems and designs
  • Lead the design of robust data integration solutions across platforms and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smart, data-driven decisions
  • Implement security and privacy best practices to protect our data assets
  • Develop and maintain clear data architecture standards, patterns, and documentation
  • Support the implementation of data governance frameworks and policies
  • Ensure alignment with organisational standards and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, with 2 years of minimum experience as a Data Architect
  • First class interpersonal skills with ability to build consensus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with digital application development for both online customers and internal business users
  • Experience in distilling complex business needs and technical change into clear direction
  • Knowledge and experience with dimensional modelling / star schemas and 3rd normal form modelling is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following platforms: Databricks, Kafka, SQL Server, IBM Data Stage, AWS S3, AWS DMS, AWS RDS, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Redshift, Azkabahn, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce Tableau, IBM Cognos, IBM TM1 is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI is desirable
  • Comparator, Insurance, financial services knowledge is desirable
