Are you a seasoned financial professional seeking a dynamic opportunity with a global leader? We are currently looking for an accomplished Financial Accountant to join our team in North-West Sydney.

About the Role:
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly income statements and other reporting requirements to local stakeholders.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities, including processes and reconciliations.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of reports, ensuring timely completion and accuracy in line with corporate and group timelines.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including all sub-ledgers, to ensure accurate financial representation.
  • Support the development of unit budgets and provide day-to-day accounting and commercial support for operations.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for lodgement with local authorities, such as company tax, VAT/indirect tax, payroll tax, and FBT.
  • Assist with audits and local statutory compliance requirements, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Act as the primary contact point for business-related financial accounting topics, providing expert guidance and support.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in month-end reporting and reconciliations, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel, with experience in OneStream or Anaplan a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with local and international stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
