Packhouse Material Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced forklift driver to join our team at Mulgowie Farming Company. As a leading horticultural business in Australia, we specialize in the growing, packing, and marketing of fresh produce for domestic and export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all company procedures, policies, documentation, and records are maintained and followed.
• Operate forklifts and machinery in a safe, efficient, and competent manner.
• Complete forklift pre-start checklist, logbook, and key register before operation.
• Maintain strict product temperature control by utilizing and following correct management and practices. Accurately maintain documentation and records.
• Support your Manager to build a cohesive team that reflects Mulgowie Farming Company's values.
• Report any maintenance requirements in your area to the appropriate person.
• Comply with all policies and procedures regarding dispatch operations to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility Laws.
• Ensure compliance process and procedure are followed for the movement of organic product or product for export.
• Ensure the work area and equipment are safe and safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure all forklifts are checked, maintained, and preventative maintenance completed and driven correctly by licensed operators.
• Take note of performance feedback and act upon accordingly.
• Have a willingness to support other areas of the business/team when required.
• Perform all other reasonable duties as directed by Management expected of someone within this position.

Requirements:

• Open to applicants in Australia with valid working rights.
• Current Australian Forklift Licence
• High level of forklift operation experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Superior organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
