Project Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our Non-Process Infrastructure team based at Port Hedland. As a key coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects across port and rail.

Challenges abound in this diverse role which covers a range of projects including road maintenance and repairs, building renovations, electrical and mechanical installations, and various civil and construction works. You will champion a proactive safety culture, oversee contractors throughout project phases, facilitate effective communication and collaboration, develop business cases and scopes of work, monitor contractor performance, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and create and maintain project schedules.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in mine site and construction operations, with experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and project control, with the ability to step up as 2IC when required
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage effectively with project stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, and ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, with a strong commitment to safe workplace practices and duty of care
  • Relevant qualifications in Mining/Civil Engineering, Project Management (desirable), Electrical, S26 accreditation, and a full C class manual driving licence
