Nurse - Gerontological Psychiatric Unit

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care, share knowledge and expertise, and support one another in times of need.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based guidelines in gerontological psychiatric nursing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with BSN required within 3 years of hire.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Previous experience working with older adults and individuals with mental health conditions is highly desirable but not required.
