Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and set the weekly production and development schedule
  • Conduct underground inspections to enable efficient operation and planning
  • Complete engineering tasks as required, including ring designs, production plans, and survey plans
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly production and development activities and determine compliance against forecast
  • Undertake geotechnical inspections and minor rehabilitation plans to address geotechnical issues/hazards
  • Assist in incident investigations and reporting

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Mining Engineer (preferable with underground time completed)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office computer packages (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient in the use of mine design software (Deswik)
  • Good communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • First Aid Certificate or equivalent
  • Current driver's license
