Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Food Production Worker to join our client's team in Smithfield. As a global leader in delivering food experiences, fragrance, and beauty and wellbeing solutions, our client is looking for a reliable and responsible individual to work on night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and unload raw materials, including raw ingredients and dry powdered goods
  • Operate machinery, including vacuum lifters, and perform batching and blending tasks
  • Conduct manual handling duties, including lifting up to 20kg
  • Perform salt testing and production assembly work
  • Operate an offline metal detector

Requirements:

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry
  • Good experience in production/process work
  • Physical fitness to conduct manual handling duties
  • Adherence to strict WHS policy and procedures on site
  • Understanding of GMP and HACCP procedures
  • Ability to work in an environment with strong smells
  • Reliability and responsibility at all times
  • Capacity to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Advantageous:

  • Current valid LF Forklift License
