Financial Operations Specialist Job Description

As a commercially astute and driven professional, you will oversee financial accounting, forecasting, and reporting for our site. This role offers flexible working arrangements with 2 days onsite at our office and fortnightly visits to our site.

About the Role:
  1. Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  2. Provide critical information to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  3. Own and manage capital requests, including forecasting for projects.
  4. Drive continuous improvement in systems and procedures around accounting and reporting.
  5. Support strategic analysis and projects as needed.
  6. Lead commercial analysis and integration.
About You:
  1. Hold a tertiary degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or Business Administration.
  2. Possess post-graduate qualification (CPA or ACA).
  3. Have advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Bring at least 7 to 10 years of experience in financial or management accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  5. Exhibit excellent financial accounting and systems skills.
  6. Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Avoid being reactive; instead, be proactive, solution-focused, and willing to challenge the status quo.
  8. Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
