Advocacy and Communications Graduate Program

This 18-month graduate program provides the opportunity to develop a career in advocacy and communications. You will work across Government & Public Policy and Corporate Communications teams, helping drive RAA's advocacy and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft high-quality content aligned with RAA's key priorities.
  • Monitor media activities and emerging trends, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Help create engaging content for media, social media, and digital platforms.
  • Review and enhance the advocacy content on RAA's websites.
  • Contribute to public policy positions for RAA's leaders and spokespeople.
  • Draft public policy positions aligned with RAA's key priorities.
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging issues, providing written and verbal insights and recommendations.
  • Support other functions within the Government & Public Policy and Corporate Communications teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree in public policy, political science, communications or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service, retail and/or hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • A GPA of 5.0 or higher.
