Finance Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Leader to join our team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for leading daily operations and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations: Oversee accounting and finance functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Financial reporting: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Accounting standards: Apply US GAAP and Australian accounting standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cash management: Manage cash balances, cash flows, and bi-annual dividends, ensuring effective cash management.
  • External banking relationships: Oversee external banking relationships, ensuring optimal banking arrangements.
  • Tax compliance: Ensure compliance with tax obligations, coordinating with external accounting firms as needed.
  • Internal and external audits: Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll function: Lead and be responsible for payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Mathematics. We're looking for someone with a strong educational background in a relevant field.
  • Experience in finance and accounting. You'll have a proven track record of success in finance and accounting roles.
  • ERP implementation experience. Experience with ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. You'll need to be proficient in using Excel to analyze data and create reports.
