We are seeking a seasoned Supervisor to lead our construction projects, ensuring timely completion and exceeding client expectations.

About the Role:
  • This is a key position within our organization, requiring a skilled and experienced professional to oversee daily operations, manage teams, and ensure project success.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction and project management, with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations, scheduling, and ensuring that project milestones are met on time through effective planning, coordination, and monitoring.
  • Management of on-site teams to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards by providing guidance, training, and feedback.
  • Maintenance of a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
  • Quality control and assurance by monitoring work quality and ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making under pressure to address any issues or delays on-site and maintain project timelines.
  • Daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of incidents or changes to the project to maintain accurate records.
  • Liaison with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction through clear communication and issue resolution.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within the construction or related industry with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant construction industry certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating site operations with flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
