About the Role

A Medical Practitioner is required to join our team at HealthcareLink. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to our patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
  • Follow-up on patient treatment, condition, and progress with other healthcare providers
  • Requesting, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, including radiology and pathology
  • Referring patients to emergency departments, hospitals, medical specialists, and allied health practitioners as necessary
  • Monitoring patient condition, progress, and responses to treatment, and providing individual care plans as needed
  • Advising patients on lifestyle choices, such as diet and exercise, to promote their overall well-being
  • Admitting patients to hospitals when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (or equivalent) is required
  • Holder of Applicable Registration with the AHPRA to practice
  • 5+ Years of Experience in a clinical setting in General Practice or a hospital setting (ED, ICU, or RMO) is required (Australian experience as a Medical Practitioner is preferred)
