Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Music Department, including planning, implementing, and evaluating music programs and activities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive music curriculum that meets the needs of our students and aligns with our school's values and mission.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise music teachers and staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality music education.
  • Collaborate with other departments and staff members to ensure that music education is integrated into the broader curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with music industry professionals, schools, and organizations to provide opportunities for our students.
  • Manage the Music Department budget and resources to ensure that we are providing the best possible music education for our students.
  • Ensure that our music programs and activities are aligned with our school's values and mission, and that they promote the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical well-being of our students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Music Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in music education, with a proven track record of leading and managing music programs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Ability to develop and implement music programs and activities that align with our school's values and mission.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
