Cafe Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in cafe settings and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be a key member of our dynamic team, providing excellent customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food preparation and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front of House Duties:
    • Greet and serve customers efficiently, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all guests.
    • Operate the Point of Sale system effectively to manage orders and payments.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front of House area, including restocking and resetting stations as needed.
    • Evaluate the Front of House experience and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Food Preparation:
    • Prepare simple deli items such as wraps, rice bowls, waffles, and quinoa power bowls according to the highest quality and hygiene standards.
    • Assist in maintaining and stocking the deli fridge, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
    • Support kitchen staff where needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient service.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work cohesively with team members to ensure seamless cafe operations, prioritizing effective communication and task coordination.
    • Maintain open channels of communication to address any issues or concerns promptly.
