Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with melanoma, incorporating clinical leadership, education, and clinical service provision to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of education programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, promoting best practices in melanoma care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Engage in research and quality improvement activities, contributing to the advancement of melanoma care and nursing practice.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent formal qualification, with registration in Australia.
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in medical oncology, melanoma, or surgical nursing, with a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills, with ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to education and professional development.
