As a senior mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of treatment systems, including pumps, tanks, valves, piping systems and associated mechanical systems.

About this role:
  • Lead the design of treatment systems including pumps, tanks, valves, piping systems and associated mechanical systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering deliverables: datasheets, equipment schedules, layouts, P&IDs, and specifications.
  • Manage and review work by junior engineers.
  • Support procurement by developing technical documentation, reviewing vendor submissions, and participating in evaluations.
  • Work closely with project teams during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Contribute to HAZOPs, design reviews, and safety assessments.

This is a mid-senior level position requiring a strong background in heavy industry, such as water treatment, mining, oil & gas, or large-scale construction. You will need to have hands-on experience in both engineering design and project execution in these environments.

The ideal candidate will bring a degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering for infrastructure or process plant projects. They should also have a strong understanding of mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and excellent communication skills.
