Role Summary

We're seeking an experienced Childhood Education Manager to lead our OSHC program at Star of the Sea Outside School Hours Care in Cleveland. As the primary coordinator, you'll oversee the delivery of high-quality educational programs for up to 45 children, creating lasting memories and shaping their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inclusive and engaging programs that cater to diverse needs and interests.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, administration, and financial tasks, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children, adhering to regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with educators and management to achieve exceptional outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare's Vision, Mission, and Values.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent, as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Consent to be the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Previous experience in childcare service management, preferably with software proficiency (Xplor preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development and growth.
