Marketing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Australian Reptile Park. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our tourism product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Senior Management to improve our tourism product and develop marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
  • Create regular reports to the Marketing Manager on marketing strategies, results, and visitation from various markets.
  • Conduct market research and visitor surveys to gather insights and implement improvements.
  • Regularly update our website and manage experiences in our online booking system.
  • Write copy for press releases and all communications with prospective and existing customers.
  • Attend industry and networking events.
  • Liaise and organise logistical details for internal and external events, including promotional events and media.
  • Assist in filming video content as required.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, content production, or graphic design is desired.
  • Highly experienced in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM campaigns, Google Ads, EDMs, and paid META campaigns.
  • Highly experienced in implementing traditional marketing, including television commercials, radio, indoor and outdoor display, and collateral distribution.
  • Highly experienced in public relations, press release distribution, and liaising with media and influencers.
  • High level of experience in reporting, data analysis, and applying learnings to future campaigns.
  • Strong computer skills within the office suite.
  • Skilled in updating websites using WordPress or similar platforms.
