Job Opportunity: Junior School Learning Support Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced learning support specialist to join our junior school team. The successful applicant will have experience supporting students with complex needs and behaviors, and will be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop strong relationships with students.
The ideal candidate will possess patience, persistence, flexibility, initiative, and strong communication skills. They will also be required to follow Continence and Oral Eating Care Plans for our students.
In addition to their professional qualifications, applicants must have a sincere commitment to Christian values and principles, and regular church attendance is expected.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with complex needs and behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff
- Develop strong relationships with students
- Follow Continence and Oral Eating Care Plans
- Experience working with students with complex needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to Christian values and principles
