About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a dynamic maintenance team in the Food Manufacturing Industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance to plant and equipment, ensuring the plant runs smoothly and produces products in line with factory schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with plant and equipment
  • Document completed work and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in repair and maintenance of all site plant and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve production goals
Requirements
  • Trade Certificate and/or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years previous experience in an Industrial manufacturing environment
  • Forklift license
  • Confined space license advantageous
  • Electrical disconnect/reconnect advantageous
  • Elevated work platform (EWP) over 11 m
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance processes
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to maintain a hands-on approach when required
  • Knowledge of WH&S requirements within a production environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety
