Job Overview

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Room Attendants to join our vibrant Housekeeping team. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a similar position, particularly in larger hotels. We offer both casual and permanent part-time opportunities.

As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and service areas. Key tasks will involve changing bed linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking amenities. You will thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests
• Ensuring guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standards
• Completing assigned cleaning tasks to meet brand expectations
• Managing the transfer of dirty linens and disposal of waste
• Utilizing cleaning chemicals safely and effectively

Candidate Profile

To excel in this position, you should have a passion for the hospitality sector and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You must possess valid work rights and be available for a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in a hotel setting
• A positive attitude and a strong service orientation
• Attention to detail coupled with effective time management skills
• Strong communication abilities and comfort using a two-way radio
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and manual handling techniques
• Must have valid Australian work rights; sponsorship is not available
