Equity and Inclusion Leader
About the Role:This is a leadership opportunity to drive strategic equity-centered initiatives and integrate human resources with diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for public service, committed to developing people-focused strategies that align with and drive a high-performance inclusive engaged workplace culture.
Responsibilities:- Lead the development of people strategy, culture, and employee engagement for the organization by integrating human resources, organizational development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion work.
- Oversee human resources functions, programs, and services including compensation and benefit systems, classification structures, recruitment, employee development, training, organizational culture, employee engagement, performance management, policy administration, compliance, payroll, labor, and employee relations.
- Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into human resources practices and policies resulting in positive impacts across the employee lifecycle and organizational culture.
- Partner with departments across the organization to develop and retain a high-performing diverse workforce ensuring the organization remains an employer of choice.
- 10 or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in human resource management.
- Experience supporting strategic diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
- Direct experience leading and supervising a team.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
The full salary range for this position is $177,813 - $248,917 depending on qualifications. A generous benefits package is provided.
