Blast Crew - Entry Level Mining Position Available

  • $56.27 per hour
  • Lifestyle roster with 10.5-hour day shifts only

About Our Mine Site

We are seeking a skilled Blast Crew member to join our team at a local open cut coal mine in the Mudgee Area.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Blast Crew Operator, you will work at a local mine site in the Mudgee Region on a 10.5-hour day shift lifestyle roster (5/4 and 4/5). You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient blasting operations.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role or mining experience is beneficial; however, candidates with demonstrated manual labouring experience will also be considered.
  • Willingness to obtain Underground Hard Labour (UHL) certification through SafeWork NSW.
  • Ability to undergo a full Order 43 Medical.
  • Dangerous Goods Licence is preferable but not essential.
