Role Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Autism Care Coordinator to join our Community Living Team. In this role, you will lead a team of Support Workers in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with Autism.
About the Position
">The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the service are delivered to the highest standard, including overseeing staff, engaging with families and community stakeholders, and working closely with the people we support.
Your Key Responsibilities
">- Lead a team of Support Workers to deliver person-centred care and support services to individuals with Autism.
- Work collaboratively with families and community stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the people we support are met.
- Develop and implement comprehensive support plans that promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to Support Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality care.
- Ensure that all aspects of the service are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certification
">- A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in the Human Services field.
Experience
">- Extensive practical experience in the field of Human Services, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and a proven track record of effective service delivery.
- Experience in leading teams and managing people, overseeing day-to-day operations and client care standards.
Personal Qualities
">- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
What We Offer
">In return for your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary package of $120,287 per annum, plus benefits including a fully maintained vehicle with private use, an opportunity to salary package up to $18,550, tailored professional development opportunities, and a positive and supportive team environment.
