Christmas Casual Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Professional to join our team at Angus & Coote, a leading name in Australian jewellery.

We strive to help our customers celebrate life's special moments and are looking for team players who have a keen interest in joining our Company in the lead up to and during the holiday season as fixed term Christmas Casual Sales Professionals.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You will be responsible for offering professional and personalised service to our customers to find the ideal jewellery or watch based on their wants and desires.
  • You will complete in-house training to gain product knowledge, sales skills, and a sound understanding of our policies & procedures.
  • Operational tasks including stock replenishment, ticketing of stock, managing customer repairs, merchandising, and general housekeeping will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to provide genuine customer service experiences to our customers.
  • You should be results-oriented and love selling.
  • You need to work productively, both on your own and as part of a team.
  • You will demonstrate good attention to detail and show an ability to help with merchandising stock and refreshing displays.
  • You must be willing to work across our store roster, including weekends, extended trading hours, and public holidays, including Boxing Day.

  • You will earn a base weekday hourly rate (including casual loading) of $32.18 plus applicable penalties for weekends and late nights.

Additional Information:

Please note that as part of our recruitment process, the successful applicant(s) will be required to complete a National Police Criminal History Check from the relevant State and/or Territory they reside in before they receive an Employment offer.

Please also note that Christmas Casual Sales Professional fixed term contracts will end on or before January 19th, but can become permanent based on performance and position availability.
