Lead Care Professional

This role oversees the delivery of clinical care services, ensuring high standards are met. The Lead Care Professional will supervise and manage a team to achieve these objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accountability for clinical operations, including staff supervision and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to implement effective care planning and monitoring processes.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings in accordance with established protocols.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of resident care plans using industry-standard documentation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with families, negotiating care outcomes and providing education and support as needed.
  • Recruit, roster, and manage staff in collaboration with senior management.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in clinical management is required.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • The ideal candidate will possess an aptitude for problem-solving and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • A natural people person, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create a positive work environment.
  • A professional demeanor, with the ability to operate at a high-pressure executive level.
  • A strong commitment to company values, including courtesy, respect, consideration, cooperation, and initiative.
Preferred Skills:
  • Current AHPRA registration and National police check are mandatory.
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia is highly desirable.
