About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team on Project Ceres, a landmark project for Western Australia. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, and construction elements for work packages on the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules.
  • Provide ongoing engineering support while monitoring compliance with company policies and design requirements.
  • Coordinate a variety of stakeholders, including the Project Engineering team, Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Client, and Vendors, to deliver packages of work.
  • Prepare technical specifications for equipment and package procurement.
  • Participate in the completion of construction work on site, including involvement with Installation Test Records and close-out of punch list items.
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical / Piping Engineering.
  • Experience delivering engineering and construction packages, such as cooling towers, desalination plants, tanks, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, such as API620, API 650, etc.
  • A solutions-driven attitude with a strong focus on achieving results in a safe and timely manner.
  • Knowledge of Project Management – Cost, Planning Reporting.
  • Previous experience in a site-based role within an Engineering/Construction environment.
  • Ability to work on a FIFO roster of 20:8 when the role transitions to site.
