Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

The role of a Personal Care Assistant involves providing assistance to clients in their own homes, ensuring they receive support with services and activities centered around their health, happiness, independence, interests, and choices.

This includes assisting clients to continue living well and positively, including transport to appointments, shopping, house cleaning, and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care assistance, such as showering and personal hygiene needs
  • Offering social connection and companionship
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Australian driver license
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Police check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Up-to-date flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Experience in a care role highly regarded
